Keeper's Heart

One-way ticket.

Hell hath no fury like Cork scorned. That's the premise of this entertaining piece of work for Keeper's Heart whiskey, founded by Cork native Brian Nation in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A cause for celebration in his hometown? Fat chance.

"Good riddance to him, the waster," says one bloke before he chucks an arrow at a photo of Nation, and the invective gets worse from there. Even the local librarian chafes at his alleged betrayal, earning her a shush from one of the customers.

Only some well-timed sound effects stop the ad from earning an 18 certificate, with F-bombs masked by lawnmowers, vehicle horns, animal noises, et cetera. Of course, one country's loss is another's gain.

That's what the brand reckon at any rate, suggesting Americans have a St Patrick's Day win on their hands. After all, anything that gets the people of Cork this riled up is surely worth a punt.
