This astonishing promo by C Prinz sets out to reinforce the notion behind Doechii powerful song 'Crazy', and pulls it off brilliantly. The 'crazy' referred to here is the dismissive use of the word to dismiss the opinions of women when they're stating home truths. In the words of the artist herself: "Crazy is about un-contained power, creativity and confidence. People call you crazy when they fear you or they don’t understand you. So when I use it in the song I’m reflecting that energy back on them to show them themselves.”

This is a spirit captured by the boldness of C Prinz's promo which uses full frontal female nudity and violence to subvert the objectification of women and the male gaze. It's a risky move because the subversion could easily have been erotic in its own way, and defeated the purpose, but the commitment is total, and Doechii and Prinz's vision has been fully realised.

Prinz says the film is a visual metaphor for "the hardships women go through in their ascension to power" which asks viewers "to see the female form not in moments of sexuality but instead for what we all go through, what we survive through and what we transcend."

The choreography amplifies the power of this message yet somehow also manages to be a great musical fit... because, make no mistake, this track is an absolute banger, and has a video which ensures that the whole music world pays attention takes note of it.
