"If It Wasn't for Leo"

What a Messi.

Made before Lionel Messi's move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, this monochrome Budweiser ad may provide some closure (or an invitation to drown one's sorrows). As Messi sits alone in a bar like the world's best-paid private detective, both fans and former teammates reveal the Argentine’s impact on their lives.

Cameroon great Samuel Eto'o says Messi is like a son to him, while a bar owner now believes in miracles thanks to him. As it turns out, only a miracle (and millions of euros) would have kept Messi at the Camp Nou.

The manner of the striker's departure is questionable at best, but the ad itself is a worthy, engaging tribute. All we need now is a Champions League tie between Barcelona and PSG to really test Catalan loyalty.
