Filthy tears.
Directing duo ROSCO 5 always bring a filthy edge to their comedy but in this – their contribution to the growing body of lockdown short films – they've imbued their trademark grossness with an unexpected poignancy... and the outcome is beyond amazing. Operating within the limitations imposed by quarantine, ROSCO 5 have conjured a film which uses gallows humour to persuade its audience to laugh at the worst aspect of the crisis – actual death. You get the feeling that this duo have an antithetical reaction to the advice: "don't go there". They don't just 'go' there, they run gleefully towards whatever it is, laughing like maniacs. Thankfully, they have the comedy skills to take us along with them. Given that this film is only a few minutes long, it isn't possible to say too much more without introducing spoilers so, instead, DAVID urges you to watch it, enjoy it, and join us in celebrating the marvellous talent of ROSCO 5.
