Winter wipeout.

Those who equate Christmas to crime scene clean-up will enjoy this 90” ad from kitchen roll brand Plenty, who honour viewers forced to get their hands dirty on the big day. There’s no hint of a pandemic in director Steve Rogers’s film - just a festive compendium of spills, splats, and splashes accompanied by Nazereth's cover of 'Love Hurts'.

Like Canadian outfit Kruger's recent ode to kitchen roll, the film embraces the chaos that is so often, well, sanitised by brands. The result is a canny reminder that not all seasonal consumables are fattening, intoxicating, or laden with tinsel; some, like Plenty, just want to keep things plain, simple, and clean. Some frazzled hosts would call that a Christmas miracle.
