Come As You Are

This kinetic commercial for Community Clothing celebrates one of the most striking features of the North - its sense of social togetherness. While the South is renowned for abruptness and chilly public attitude (and Scotland and Wales have their own distinct codes of behaviour), this film makes one thing very clear: up north, you can come as you are.

Director Tom Wilson embraces the diverse nature of local community throughout here, as the ad nimbly darts from fashion to sport, art to music, and embraces traditional pub culture for good measure. This is the true British melting pot in action, and this film ably illustrates that such communities should be celebrated.
