Goat got your tongue?

Over a decade since a Peruvian goat broke the internet, McVitie's unleash their own bleating beast on an unsuspecting public in this off-kilter ad. Despite the animal's reputation for intelligence, this goat is confused by something truly aberrant: Jaffa Cake Nibbles.

Sure enough, anyone who tastes the miniature cake-slash-biscuit (delete as applicable) is met by a goat with piercing green eyes and an unnerving shriek of "Whaaaat?" How one is supposed to break this cross-species impasse is anyone's guess.

The sheer oddness of the premise is heightened by a lack of background music, which makes the sounds of rustling sweetie packets and mystified goats all the more amusing. Plus there's something pleasing about watching Joey Essex match wits with a horned mammal.
