Online mattress vendor Eve convey the benefits of a good night's sleep via Moloko's ‘Pure Pleasure Seeker' and a dancing toy sloth in this 30" commercial. Ostensibly keen to fill the gap left by Neal of Sofaworks fame, the brand introduce their own arboreal mascot with merchandising potential.

It certainly makes a good first impression. As Moloko's ode to hedonism uncurls, the long-limbed protagonist shimmies its way out of bed through a blend of live-action puppetry and post-production jiggery pokery.

Given their experience with cuddly lead performers, one shouldn't be too surprised at what directors DOM&NIC have produced here. Tactile and above all fun, the ad makes a song and dance about sleep in a way that has previously eluded the brand.
