Thoroughly modern merriment.

To say the past year has been an utter shitshow would be putting it mildly, but at least we have the bright lights, sparkly decorations, and rampant capitalism of Christmas to look forward to. The BBC accept good vibes only as they encourage viewers to toss 2019 into the proverbial bonfire and sate themselves with all the season has to offer.

From indulging in vegan Christmas dinners to bingeing series we've been putting off until our eyes bleed, this film takes a lighthearted look at the modern realities of Christmas. A choral performance of Gorillaz's 'Feel Good Inc.' helps set the tone of affectionate nostalgia... now if only we can all be successful in banning political talk from the table.
