Droning on about insurance

Whether you regard them as remote control playthings or the humble kite's nefarious upgrade, drones have caught the public's imagination - and in this lovely ad for insurance app Back Me Up, their potential for mishap is comprehensively plundered.

A young man who decides his girlfriend's first day at a new job should be marked with more than just a card uses a drone to fly a good luck message outside her office window. But he doesn't reckon on interference from another airbourne source, and things unravel with toe-curling comedy.

One of four equally strong ads directed by Chris Palmer, this spot does a fantastic job of communicating the message that even our silly accidents will be taken seriously.
