Slings and arrows

"Bein' from the olden days," a besieged Gethin Alderman tells us as he's hit by arrows, "Royal Insurance are full of classic olden-day values." Thus begins his explanation of why you should trust them today for investments.

Like its companion ad, it's wonderfully mad, with moments of utter visual genius - look out for the rat kitted out in a little cape, and its subsequent demise.

Both ads are equally strong - which is impressive - the casting, the performances, the attention to detail... all are excellent, and we hope other hitherto dull sectors will be inspired to loosen up as a result.
