French-Moroccan director Ugo Mangin's ready to embark on a global tour with Hamlet. He's now on the books in (deep breath) Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, China, and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region, so keep a lookout for him on your travels. Better yet, hire him for your next commercial or music video!

One man eager to take your call is Clement Martorell, Hamlet's Paris-based EP, who says: "I have followed Ugo's work since the very beginning of his career, and what stands out is the rare sensitivity that runs throughout all of his work, coupled with a deep understanding of how our society speaks today. His approach and vision aligns perfectly with the way we support and develop our directors at Hamlet." |
|
And what does Mangin have to say about all this? "Hamlet is a company I've followed for a long timeāone that's developing an increasingly compelling perspective: sharp, well-produced, and ambitious projects with a strong focus on directing and staging and a distinct signature (particularly in comedy) in the direction I want to move in. "I'm very happy to be joining a company that feels like a small family, with a tight-knit roster and a real level of creative ambition. We already have several projects underway, and I can't wait to share them." As luck would have it, Mangin's 2022 spot for KLM also centres around family... though the conundrum about where to go on holiday might tear them apart. |
