Sisters Kim and Flo Nüesch, whose credits include 'Hardcore Workout Queen' for Friedberg and 'Through the Storm' for Vogue, have signed for The Corner Shop in the UK, the US, and the Netherlands.
Sisters Kim and Flo Nüesch have signed for The Corner Shop, a company the Swiss directors have always kept tabs on: "The Corner Shop has been on our radar since our Los Angeles days, when we first met Anna Hashmi. Reconnecting with the company through Heather Link in London, and ultimately signing with them, feels like a real full-circle moment."

The Nüesch Sisters add: "They've built a brilliant team and consistently create stunning work. It's one of those rare alignments - same taste, same way of seeing things. Their incredible roster, with such strong female representation, makes it feel like a very natural fit. We're excited to get going and make impactful, unique, and globally minded work together." |

That suits founder Anna Hashmi down to the ground: "Kim and Flo are the kind of filmmakers you remember from the first frame—emotionally fearless, visually distinctive, and completely in command of their voice. "From our first meeting in LA a few years back, it's impressive how they have grown and stayed true to their unique tone, so signing them now across the UK, US, and the Netherlands feels like a story that was always going to find its ending here. They are a perfect fit for this roster, and we are thrilled to have them." |

Keep your eyes peeled for the Swiss duo's Corner Shop debut. In the meantime, why not revisit the promo for Friedberg's 'Hardcore Workout Queen'? Want to "kill it on the row machine"? Go for it. Prefer to slip into a food coma ("I've got cake, you can have quinoa")? Knock yourself out! No judgement here, the band promise—just the witty title track from Anna F, Emily Linden, Cheryl Pinero, and Fifi Dewey's debut album. If you want to read a magazine at the same time, the Nüesch Sisters' promo has plenty to choose from. The band walk between the covers of 'Feet Up', 'Hey Hey', 'Unwind', 'Lazy Days', and 'NME' (a nod to the music magazine's bi-monthly print edition). When lifestyles collide, it's a retro joy to behold. |
