Teepee Films taps director Claudia Lee.

Off the back of films like 'Bodily Renaissance' and 'Arms Unfolding', London-based writer and director Claudia Lee has completed her move to Teepee Films.

London-based writer and director Claudia Lee has completed her move to Teepee Films. "Claudia is exactly the kind of filmmaker we love to champion," Executive Producer and Founder Tom Precey explains. "She has an incredibly distinctive voice, a strong visual sensibility, and an instinctive understanding of character and emotion that can blend perfectly across commercial genres and brands.

"Her films always feel genuine and beautifully crafted, with a strong focus on the human experience," Precey adds. "It's been an honour working with Claudia over the past few years and we're so excited to support her as she continues to grow in the industry."

That prompts Lee to say: "I'm really excited to solidify my relationship with Teepee Films after working together on a number of very special projects in the past. One of those special projects—the company's four-part 'Grounded In' series—has Lee turn 'Ave Maria' into a breakup song as she encapsulates Teepee's commitment to drama. To the strains of Franz Schubert, a woman chucks clothes at her soon-to-be-ex-partner from the bedroom window. Even she's drowned out by the music, you can tell it's a full-throated performance from the female lead.
