Les Garçons signs for Spy Films.

Spy Films has added Les Garçons (David Rollins and Rob Lee) to its razor-sharp roster of directors, not long after the launch of its Montréal office and the arrival of EP Sonia Marques.

Spy Films has added Les Garçons (David Rollins and Rob Lee) to its razor-sharp roster of directors. The move follows the launch of Spy's Montréal office, where Executive Producer Sonia Marques is ready to rock. Back in Toronto, MD/EP Marcus Trulli is more than happy to share his thoughts on Messieurs Rollins and Lee.

He says: "Spy is very excited to welcome Les Garçons to the team. David and Rob have been steadily rising in the market and we look forward to continuing that momentum while expanding the reel into new horizons."

When asked what attracted them to the company, Les Garçons says: "Spy has a proven commitment to craftsmanship, producing some of the most creative and disciplined work in the industry. They understand that production is driven by ideas, and the bigger the better."

"We're therefore thrilled to be working with Spy, and honoured to be joining a roster of this calibre." Time to break out the Angel's Envy, we reckon... though non-alcoholic drinks are also available. Co-directed by Les Garçons and Nik Mirus, this 2024 ad suggests that Triple Oak looks good from all angles and tastes even better—mirror, mirror on the wall, what's the fairest bourbon of them all?

Spy Films

Most spy organisations hate to draw attention to themselves. Spy Films, on the other hand, loves to put itself about with bold commercials directed by a host of skilled operators. Founded in 1994, the Toronto-based company's been on a mission ever since. With Marcus Trulli at the helm, expect plenty more quality commercials to emerge from the shadows.
