Will Speck and Josh Gordon, whose credits include 'World's Biggest Asshole' for Donate Life and 'Mayo Cat' for Hellmann's, have signed to Spindle for commercial representation in the UK and the Netherlands.

Will Speck and Josh Gordon have signed to Spindle for commercial representation in the UK and the Netherlands. Over the years, Speck & Gordon have directed standout commercials like 'World's Biggest Asshole' for Donate Life and 'Mayo Cat' for Hellmann's, plus feature films like 'Blades of Glory' and 'Office Christmas Party' for good measure.

'World's Biggest Asshole' introduces us to Coleman F Sweeney, to whom the unflattering epithet has been attached. In fairness, he earns it. This is not a man tainted by mere selfishness, he's way worse than that. He actively seeks to disgust and annoy those around him and there is absolutely nothing redemptive about his life.

Except that there is. As unlikely as it may seem, Sweeney (played by Thomas Jane) carries a donor card and when a timely aneurysm ends his soul's stint aboard the magic sailing ship we call Earth, his harvested body parts are able to provide the help to his fellow humans that Sweeney never considered important when he was alive.

Such work prompts Spindle's Stitch Richardson to say: "Speck and Gordon are creative royalty. They've made their mark in every corner of the industry, across advertising, film and TV. I've quoted lines from their films with mates, taken my kids to see their movies at the cinema, and shared their ads around the office multiple times.

If that doesn't stoke anticipation for Speck & Gordon's Spindle debut, we don't know what will.
