Drinks all round at Shift Post as Rob McGuire is promoted to Editor. McGuire, who came on board as an Edit Assistant in September 2025, says: "It's a dream to be surrounded by a bunch of lovely legends who all share a real passion for editing (and going to the pub). I'm really looking forward to what's ahead."

McGuire, whose credits include 'Merry Go' for John Newman and a tongue-in-cheek behind-the-scenes video for Waitrose, adds: "The range of talent of our editors is so exciting to me, so it's a real privilege to be joining them. Everyone at Shift is incredibly supportive of each other. I can't thank Saam Hodivala and Kirsty Oldfield enough for their support, trust, and belief in me."

Founder Hodivala feels "genuinely lucky" to have McGuire on staff, saying: "I'm so excited to be adding Rob to our roster. Not only is he unbelievably good at editing, he's just such a wicked dude who has put in so much graft to get to this point." For Executive Producer Oldfield, stories like McGuire's are a source of real pride.
