Pulse Films have signed Irish director, rapper, and record producer Kojaque (also known as Kevin Smith) for commercial and music video representation.

Pulse Films have signed Irish filmmaker, rapper, and record producer Kojaque (also known as Kevin Smith) for commercial and music video representation. The move follows a string of promos Kojaque directed by the man himself and coincides with the release of 'A Cowboy Song', the second part of a character-driven trilogy for compatriot Kean Kavanagh.

All three videos revolve around Pa Campion (Peter McGann), an Elvis impersonator and Gaelic football fan who's the life and soul of Portlaoise. In 'A Cowboy Song', Kojaque shows there's more to the man who dances around his underwear than meets the eye. You can tell how much the director cares about the character, which bodes well for part three when it drops.

Such work leads Global Head of Music Videos Rik Green to say: "I'm absolutely thrilled to welcome Kojaque to Pulse. His sharp visual wit and instinctive storytelling set him apart — it's rare to come across such a distinctive voice. He's a phenomenal artist, in every sense of the word, and we're genuinely excited to be part of his continued evolution as a director."
