Papaya's new lick of paint.

Papaya Films looks a little different from last time DAVID went to market. Not only has the company got a new visual identity (check out that cheeky new logo when you have a moment), Papaya's also revamped the whole roster from top to bottom. It's a lot to take in, we know, so let Global Head of Talent Pilar Muro talk you through it.

"Papaya has always been about pushing boundaries and what really excites us now is the wave of new directors joining our roster," Muro says. "These fresh voices bring energy, bold ideas, and a spark that inspires all of us to go further.

"For our clients and our partners, it means working with a growing, dynamic team—creative, hungry, and powered by a 'less talk, more do' spirit that makes things happen. And with this talent on board, our care for the craft has never felt more alive."

Said new talent includes [deep breath] Amo, Christophe Dolcerocca, Claudia Llosa, Fran Colombatti, Jade Smith, Joris Noordenbos, Los Pibes, Marco Placanica, Slane, Erik 'Snask' Kockum, and M&M (not to be confused with Eminem). Chuck in a host of other consummate directors, cinematographers, and photographers and you have a company ripe for success.

Papaya Films

Papaya is a production company from Poland which is reversing the usual flow by doing rather well in the UK and the USA. This isn't easy to achieve and it says a lot about the ambitions of those who own and run it that they're not just trying but succeeding. Part of the reason for this is that it's a company specifically set up for the challenges of today with a commitment to "power the internet with quality content and entertainment from around the world".
