Hamlet deploys shock and WAAAW tactics.

Hamlet has declared war on France, Belgium, China, Japan, and the Asia-Pacific! Wait, DAVID got that wrong—Hamlet now represent WAAAW in France, Belgium, China, Japan, and the Asia-Pacific.

Hamlet has declared war on France, Belgium, China, Japan, and the Asia-Pacific! Wait, we got that wrong—Hamlet's declared WAAAW on France, Belgium, China, Japan, and the Asia-Pacific. At ease, everyone—turns out Jack Antoine Charlot and Sidney van Wichelen are directors, not weapons of mass destruction, which is good news for NATO and the United Nations.

It's even better news for Hamlet co-founder Jason Felstead, who says: "We're really excited to welcome WAAAW to the roster. Sid and Jack Antoine have this great way of blending live-action with 2D/3D animation—it all feels effortless and super intentional.

"Their use of visual effects isn't just for show," adds Felstead. "It really supports the emotion and storytelling, which I love. There's a clarity and boldness to their style that really stands out, and we're looking forward to teaming up with them across different markets."

Belgian Sidney van Wichelen is just as hyped: "The roster is seriously cool… just packed with crazy talents. Hamlet's relentless pursuit of excellence and the opportunity to grow our reel not just in Belgium, but also in the French and Chinese markets, were key factors in our decision."

And what does his French confrère, Jack Antoine Charlot, have to say about all this? "Ruben [Goots] and Jason have such an awesome track record, and they're just genuinely fun to chat with. We love having open conversations with our producers—a shared hunger to push boundaries and make wild stuff happen."

HAMLET shares its name with a Shakespeare play and a cigar brand. What makes HAMLET stand apart, however, is its roster: an international group of directors that quality scripts were made for. With offices in Brussels, Paris, Berlin, and Shanghai, the company says it's open to "visitors, guests, customers, and the curious". This open-door policy makes HAMLET one of the most approachable outfits around.
