Fresh Film welcomes Adam Nelson.
2 December 2025
Writer and director Adam Nelson has completed his move to Fresh Film, who'll represent him in both the UK and US as he builds on the success of work for brands like Smokey Bear and HSBC.
Writer and director Adam Nelson has completed his move to Fresh Film. A canny operator across the pond, Nelson wants to show the UK what he's made of. Backed to the hilt by Kim Griffin, Richard Carter-Hounslow, Simon Petter, Lou Mumford, et al., he's got every reason to be optimistic as 2025 draws to a close and 2026 beckons.

Drawn to how Nelson explores "memory, identity, and emotional complexity", as well as the "quiet tensions between past and present, tradition and change, solitude and connection", Fresh Film also appreciates how he "embraces tone, place, and atmosphere as narrative tools" like a proper craftsman. The sooner clients get in touch, the sooner we can admire his handiwork. |

In the meantime, Kim Griffin says: "We're really excited to welcome Adam into the Fresh family. His work has always caught our eye, with his cinematic lens and deeply felt emotions and performances. He has this talent to blend emotion, storytelling, and craft in a way that feels timeless but still fresh. We’ve wanted to collaborate for a long time, and now felt like the perfect moment to make it happen." The last word goes to Nelson, of course: "Fresh has been on my radar for nearly a decade (and around for twice as long), and it's a full-circle moment to join forces. Fresh is globally positioned but grounded in an energetic independent spirit, championing authored creativity, diverse voices, and meaningful artistic collaboration. Fresh embodies the kind of creative ethos I've always gravitated toward as a filmmaker, where big work grows from intimate teams led by curiosity, passion, and love for craft." |
