Whitehouse Post promotes Arden Phillips to editor.

Whitehouse Post has promoted assistant editor Arden Phillips to the main roster, where her knack for storytelling, sharp creative instincts, and collaborative spirit are bound to come in handy.

Arden Phillips came to Whitehouse Post in 2024 after spells at Mackcut and LVLY/Friend or Føe. A consummate assistant editor and graduate of Syracuse University, Phillips impressed the likes of Ryan Smith and Eric Schoen with her "storytelling, sharp creative instincts, and collaborative spirit". Two years later, she's been promoted to the main roster.

Suffice to say, there's nowhere else she'd rather be: "Being an editor means you get a front row seat to every part of the storytelling process. I love collaborating with talented people and helping to bring the story into focus. Every project is different and that's what keeps it exciting."

As for what makes the company a beacon for editors like Phillips, she says: "I was drawn to the variety of styles coming out of Whitehouse and the level of care behind the work. Since my first day, I've felt incredibly supported. There's a real sense of collaboration and curiosity here that pushes everyone to do their best work."

This pleases executive producer Ryan Smith no end: "Arden is one of those editors who makes everyone around her better. She's thoughtful, hardworking, collaborative, and has an incredible sensitivity to story. We've loved watching her grow at Whitehouse and couldn't be more excited to see what she does next."
