Shift Post welcome Paul O'Reilly.

Shift Post have completed the signing of editor Paul O'Reilly, who reckons "something very exciting is happening" at his new home. The former Trim man says: "I'm so happy to be a part of what Saam [Hodivala] is building. The intimate atmosphere is unique to Shift and is the perfect creative space for me to thrive."

Shift Post founder Hodivala is equally effusive: "I've known Paul for years since we were assistant editors, so I'm thrilled to now have him as part of our team. He's such an incredible editor with a body of award winning work behind him, I'm unbelievably excited about the new dimension he brings to Shift and I can't wait to see what the future holds!"

Neither can execuctive producer Kirsty Oldfield: "It's such a joy to have Paul on the roster, we've been friends for a long time so I knew he would bring great vibes to Shift along with his immense talent. There's so much energy and skill in his work, we really are over the moon that he's joined our growing team."

The man's in good form, it must be said. Check out his recent edit for Sports Direct and director LOOSE, wherin young Macy bids to outrun, outbox, and outscore everyone else this Christmas. O'Reilly has his work, ahem, cut out for him, as Macy goes toe-to-toe with Conor Benn, roars in the face of Zharnel Hughes, and does what Hedvig Lindahl wishes she could do: save a shot from Alessia Russo.
