KODE swoop for Emily Freda Sharp .

by Andrew MacGregor

Free-spirited director Emily Freda Sharp has put down roots at KODE as her commercial career goes from strength to strength. Her career began in earnest as a background actor in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows', where she fell in love with the minutiae of film production.

Like most of her contemporaries, Sharp shot and edited her early work single-handedly, making films like 'The People's Seat' for the United Nations. Demand for her services from brands like Not on The High Street, Method, and Facebook soared, and led to a meeting with KODE executive producer Jack Goodwin.

Emily is a brilliantly creative, diligent, and enthusiastic director," Goodwin says, "with experience directing social-led and traditional advertising campaigns. It's for these reasons that we’re excited to be officially welcoming her to our roster, and can’t wait to see her grow."

And what does Sharp have to say about all this? "I couldn't have asked for a better start to the year than joining KODE. Having worked independently for the last few years I spent a long time considering which production company I wanted to join—in KODE I've found creative partners, expert guidance. and a shared love of cult classics. What more could a girl ask for!"
