Stuart Parr enlists with Johnny Foreigner. |
Filmmaker and all-round design whizz Stuart Parr has signed with Johnny Foreigner for representation. Before he became a director, Parr studied furniture design at the Royal College of Art, which explains a lot about his tabletop prowess. |
So what does Parr hope to achieve in this new chapter of his career? "Like any director l'm keen to get access to, and hone my craft with, the best scripts, the best agencies, and the best clients around. Teaming up with Johnny Foreigner gives me that chance with Olivia Hirschberg and Karen James totally onboard and enthusiastic for me to do just that." |
James zeroes in on Parr's creative pedigree: "Everything about Stuart says design: a master’s in furniture design from The Royal College of Art; his little black book, and, of course the scripts that have sought out his filmmaking aesthetic." Like Parr, she predicts a successful collaboration. Partner in crime Hirschberg is equally bullish about Parr's arrival: "I'm so happy to have Stuart onboard. He's a super-cool Londoner who has travelled the world and brings all this to the macro. We have been looking for the best of the best in tabletop and finally here we are." |
