10 February 2026 Written by Alice Carr and directed by FORM's Zak Harney, 'Doppelgänger' kicks off 'Long Story Short' for BBC Three and BBC iPlayer. One of seven short dramas available to stream now (as opposed to, er, then), 'Doppelgänger' has big Fyodor Dostoevsky’s 'The Double' energy—Carr's story, however, takes place in Newcastle, not Saint Petersburg.

8 February 2026 Canadian Ben Canny once had dreams of treading the boards as an actor, and actually got as far as moving to London to study at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and securing representation from a top agent. In the end though, the precariousness of life as actor did not appeal and he decided he needed to find another outlet for his creativity. Ultimately, he discovered that the craft of editing was more to his liking, and acting's loss was editing's gain, as he's bloody good at it.
