A pair of unlikely friends star in this charming ad for Dreamies... for a while. Everything is set for this to be a tale of friendship that transcends species: the upbeat acoustic guitar music, pastoral frolics through the woods, nights spent curled up together in comfort. It all seems perfect... until things take a dark turn.

The humour here is so effective, in part, because the joke is apparent from the word go. The chick serves as Chekhov's (cuter) gun, its demise looming over every adorable interaction with its furry friend. Add that to the fact every cat owner has been the recipient of a dead bird from their feline serial killer, and the denouement feels pitch perfect.

Director Keith Schofield has done a great job here, giving his characters personality without making things too saccharine. Highly amusing work.

Dreamies cat treats are so irresistable that they've had to create the world's first 'impenetrable pack' to keep mischevious moggies away - at least according to this amusing ad from adam&eveDDB. We watch as the bag in question is blown up, crushed, and set on fire before being presented with its ultimate test - a pack of hungry felines. Immensely entertaining.

"Cats Will Do Anything"

The premise of this ad is very good but it clearly could have been so much better. The idea that a cat will dive through a wall to get to the product is intrinsically funny but leaden human performances, a lacklustre pace and a poor music choice prevent it from hitting the mark.
