executed with aplomb by director Matt Devine - which suggests sometimes sharing music taste with your parents isn't as sweet as it sounds.
The performances here are excellent, as the camera pans from the teen's expressive cover of the Savage Garden track (we get the feeling he has a vlog where he posts these flashes of artistic brilliance) to his mother. She addresses the camera with a raised eyebrow and the self-assured confidence of a woman who doesn't regret one moment of enjoying that song in this room... on this table.

Another entertaining ad for Spotify sees a girl let her brother know he's not as subtle as he thinks when it comes to his - ahem - self love. She explains her choice of Justin Bieber's 'Love Yourself' with the thousand yard stare of someone resigned to spending their teenage years sharing a wall with a lad dedicated to the five-finger shuffle. An excellent performance and edgy tone that feels like a good fit for the brand.
Spotify promote the diversity of their music catalogue with this ad starring a trio of rocking nuns. As they organise a church in prim fashion, they indulge in a spot of ecclesiastical headbanging before supers inform us of Pope Francis's penchant for rock 'n' roll. Mind you, a guest turn from the man himself would have been one heck of a turn up for the books.
This nostalgic Spotify ad confirms 'The NeverEnding Story' does exactly what it says on the tin. Fans of the 1984 fantasy yarn will instantly recognise Atreyu (played by a bearded Noah Hathaway) riding atop luckdragon Falkor (voiced by Alan Oppenheimer). Still flying high together, the duo express their surprise at the film's theme tune proving to be a hit on the streaming service in 2016.
